The SASI FOODS AND HERBALS (India) was started in the year 2021, with a vision to harness and benefit from Mother Nature to achieve a long and disease-free happy life. The Mother Nature has a huge resource of plants, and trees which have wide application in the bringing of betterment and disease-free lives for humankind. This reservoir of knowledge that was once gathered and used by our forefathers has been lost to a great extent. A small trove of this knowledge was retrieved by the Ayurveda, Siddha, and Unani traditional medicinal systems. The Indian subcontinent has still great reservoirs of this knowledge and is practiced at a small level.
Our company - SASI FOODS AND HERBALS (India), is working towards providing scientific evidence to these formulations from our traditional medicine systems and providing it to the general population.
One of the first products which are scientifically verified by our Research and Development team Avaram Amrit, scientifically verified and tested, This formulation was found to be very much active against diabetes. It reduces the sugar load from the diabetic individual and makes his/her life more livable, since the main thing missing from his life is “sugar”, also the presence of Stevia in this formulation, makes life more manageable for the diabetic individual.

Ms. K. Ramapriya serves as the Managing Director of the company. She holds an MBA in Marketing and has undertaken a mini-project on marketing strategy at East China University of Science and Technology, China. Additionally, she has completed a short-term course in Advanced Entrepreneurship and Skill Development at IIM Visakhapatnam. She also holds a certification in cosmetic technology with a focus on skincare. With over 15 years of experience in marketing, she brings extensive expertise to her role.
Ms. S. Sangeethalakshmi serves as the Director of the company and is the Founder of Sri Yoga Vanam. She holds an MA in Yoga with a specialization in Yoga Therapy. She is a certified Yoga Teacher and Evaluator accredited by the Yoga Certification Board (YCB), Ministry of Ayush, India, and is a member of The International Association of Yoga Therapists, USA. Additionally, she plays a pivotal role in herbal product development and sales. With over 10 years of experience in holistic healing and sales, she brings valuable expertise to the organization.
Dr. L. Karthik, the Chief Scientific Officer, Founder, and Advisor of the company, brings extensive scientific expertise to the project. His profound knowledge in synthetic biology, herbal biology, and drug discovery strategies makes him a key contributor to the development and evaluation of polyherbal formulations. Notably, Dr. Karthik has been recognized among the top 2% of scientists worldwide, as per a report by Stanford University.
Dr. V. Mohansrinivasan, Advisor to the company, brings extensive scientific expertise to its product development. He is currently the Professor at the School of Bio Sciences and Technology. Also holding an additional responsibility as an Assistant Director at the career development centre,VIT, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India.
Mr. Karthik Saravanan is a Chartered Accountant and a globally experienced business leader with deep expertise in finance, fundraising, logistics, market expansion and strategic growth. With a career spanning international markets (USA, India, Singapore, Greater China) he has successfully led business expansion, financial structuring, and capital-raising initiatives across diverse industries. He is currently Strategic advisor to the company
